Caring about having a clean car is not just about vanity, it is about your safety and hygiene.
- Dirty cars loose their value more quickly than cars that have been looked after.
- A dirty windscreen makes it more difficult to see clearly and safely where you are going and what is happening around you
- A dirty car interior is a hygiene hazard. Where there is dirt there are bacteria, even a clean looking dashboard and steering wheel can harbour germs that could make you ill.

Your car may feel like your safety bubble when you are on the road;-
- However even when encased in its protective envelope you need to be aware of what is happening around you. This is more difficult when you have loud music blaring in your ears, children fighting in the back seat, the heating turned up high lulling you off to sleep, checking your text messages or thinking what to cook for dinner or planning your next holiday!
- In the case of a breakdown you will have to decide if it is safer to stay locked in your car for personal safety or to wait on the grass verge – as far away from the road as you can get.
